NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School District announced that Curtis Nightingale will be interviewing for the position of superintendent with the Board of Education Tuesday.
Curtis Nightingale is the first of two candidates that the USD 309 Nickerson-South Hutchinson Board of Education will be interviewing. Candidates were selected to interview based on their fit with desired characteristics that were developed with input from focus groups and an online community survey utilized during the search process.
Curtis Nightingale is currently serving as the Junior High/High School Principal in Twin Valley USD 240 - Bennington School. He is in his 5th year in that position. Previously, Curtis served as an Assistant Principal/Activities Director for 10 years in Pratt High School.
The public will be able to meet with Nightingale Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Reno Valley Middle School.
