HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hospice and Homecare of Reno County and the Cosmosphere, is inviting all school age children 6 to 17, who have experienced the death of a loved one to attend Kids Kamp - Space to Grieve.

The annual event will be filled with a combination of activities for children to process their grief among peers and trained facilitators intermingled with activities provided by the Cosmosphere.  Activities for children will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at which time parents or guardians will be involved in a 30 minute activity session with their children.

Following Space to Grieve Kids Kamp, the Cosmosphere is offering parents and children the opportunity to view a documentary film from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. as well as self-guided tours of the Space Museum.

Space is limited and registration is required to attend, so people are encouraged to register early as space does fill up. Registration closes on June 11th or when spaces are filled.
