HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Art Center is hosting a multimedia performance event with writer, photographer, and pub-enthusiast Dave McKane, "Semi-sweet Feelings: Poems for the Feint Hearted," sponsored by Foxtrot Studios and Sandhills Brewing on Valentine's Day from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
"He lives part time in Dublin, Ireland," said Jace Chambers with the Art Center. "The other time he visits Hutch frequently, a few times a year."
His Valentine’s Day performance features love poems and other such romantic notions in both visual and audio form.
"He's going to do a poetry and multimedia performance for us," Chambers said. "His poetry, he will be reading, his photography will be on display for the event."
Listen closely as he spins tales about the abandoned houses and car junkyards of rural America. All funds raised by this event support future arts programming at the Hutchinson Art Center.
