HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Apple Lane project is getting underway next week.
According to a message from Jeff Schenk with the City of Hutchinson, a lane closure from 17th to 20th Avenue will start Monday and last through March 25th.
First Mies Construction will be removing a section of Apple Lane to replace the existing timber bridge with a reinforced concrete box. After Mies is done, Pearson Construction will be removing the existing asphalt street and replacing it with new asphalt pavement.
Detour routes will be posted during construction. Construction dates are dependent on weather conditions. If you have questions, you can call Hutchinson City Public Works at 694-1900.
