
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Questions about Memory Loss is a community conversation and an education program presented by the Alzheimer’s Association®, First United Methodist Church and the Hutchinson Community Foundation.
The event is April 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (east side) at 101 East 1st Ave. in Hutchinson.
The event will teach the difference between normal aging and Alzheimer’s and how to understand common warning signs.
You will also learn how to communicate & interact with those with dementia, discover how to support families and listen to experiences of those who are dealing with these issues in the community.
The event is designed to help identify needs & gaps in resources and increase community engagement.
Attendees will also learn about Alzheimer’s Association resources and how they can help.
