HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson YMCA is opening the doors to ALL Reno County 6th, 7th and 8th Graders the second Saturday of each month, including Nov. 11.
This is a free, fun, safe, well-supervised time for middle schoolers to play basketball in the gym, use the exercise rooms, and swim! There will be plenty of food for them, as well.
Saturday Night at the Y is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Supervision will be in the form of YMCA staff, volunteers and the Hutchinson Police Department.
Buhler and Hutchinson had the most students attend in the past school year with 225 Crusaders and 189 Salthawks, respectively. There were also 11 students from Nickerson and 14 from other schools.
96% of the participants were non-members.
