NEWTON, Kan. — The City received word this week that Newton will receive $1.2 million in City Connecting Link Improvement Program (CCLIP) funding from the Kansas Department of Transportation for the next phase of K-15 construction. 

This will be a full pavement reconstruction of Main Street from 11th Street to 13th Street, including the full intersection at 12th and Main. This is a major project that will be coming in the next couple of years.
