
Jaedyn Michalle Douglas, 23, of Maize, died January 10, 2024, as a result of a traffic accident near Haven. She was born March 6, 2000, in Hutchinson, to Billy Douglas and Sunshine Willis.
Jaedyn graduated from Nickerson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the E.R. at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, in Wichita, and had previously worked in the E.R. at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Jaedyn loved being a mom, singing, music, her career, and her dogs.
Jaedyn is survived by: her daughter, Emersyn Douglas; mother, Sunshine George (Kevin); father, Billy Douglas; grandparents, Denise Willis, Arley Philbrick (Rhonda), Mike Douglas (Margo), Patricia Gough (Rodney); siblings; Dakota Douglas, Uriah Gilley, Lily Chapman, Elijah Chapman; aunts, Dezarae Willis, Ashley Barton; beloved Pit Bull, Lexi; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her beloved American Bulldog, Bella.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, at CrossPoint Church, 1410 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Wednesday, with the family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary.
