
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Sales tax revenue for Reno County rebounded from last month's falloff.
According to numbers released from the treasurer's office, sales tax for September totaled $437,143. That compares with $414,803 in 2020.
It’s a rebound from a more than $54,000 drop in August receipts. The sales tax revenue has topped the $400,000 mark seven of the nine months this calendar year and totals nearly $3.8 million with three months left in 2021.
