COVID cases fall below 100 in Reno County

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The number of reported active COVID cases fell below 100 over the weekend. According to numbers released by the Reno County Health Department, the number of active cases fell by 29 to just 91. It's the lowest number since August 2nd of 2021. 

The number of new cases increased by just seven over the weekend and the overall total now stands at 17,715 since the pandemic began.

Currently there are 13 county residents hospitalized. The vaccination rate is at 54.4% or 33,990 county residents.

The number of active cases fell by more than 1,400 in the month of February.
