Twila J. Becker, 90, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Moundridge Manor. She was born August 18, 1933 in Fairview, Oklahoma, the daughter of David J. and Hattie (Wedel) Schmidt.
Twila was a member of the Lone Tree Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, in rural Galva.
She attended Green Valley and Fairview Consolidated Schools.
She was united in marriage to Arnold D. Becker on April 28, 1957 in Fairview, Oklahoma.
Twila was a devoted homemaker and a Certified Nurse Aide at Moundridge Manor for many years.
She is survived by her sons, Kendall (Charlene) Becker of Galva, and Delane (Althea) Becker of Canton; daughters, Janet (David) Kurtz of Pipestone, MN, and Kayleen (Kevin) Unruh of Galva; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Twila was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Lamonty Ray Becker; grandson, Warren Becker; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, September 9, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:00 at the church.
