HUTCHINSON, Kan. — On Thursday, March 30th, Public Works Water Maintenance crew repaired a water line break in the 400 block of E 17th Ave.
A second water line break occurred in the 300 block of E 17th Ave. later that morning, causing the closure of E 17th between Maple and Plum. The repair has been complete.
Due to the extent of the road damage, a contractor will be brought in to repair the road. An update will be made when a date for opening the road has been determined.
