HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Public Library will reopen today at noon after a major electrical failure forced the building to close Saturday morning.
Library Director Gregg Wamsley confirmed the update Monday morning, saying repair crews were able to restore power and make the building safe for public use.
The library had initially announced an all-day closure after the electrical issue shut down operations early Saturday.
Patrons are encouraged to check the library’s website and social media channels for any additional updates.
