HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Museum's annual Christmas In The Courtyard is Thursday, December 15.
“This event is a fun and festive gathering geared towards bringing families together to celebrate the magic of the holiday season," according to Penny Bettles, Event Coordinator with the museum.
The event includes live entertainment, make-N-take crafts, cookie and ornament decorating, a hot chocolate bar and an appearance by Santa Claus. A new addition to the event is Live Reindeer.
“With the help of our event sponsor, Bretz Injury Law, we are able to bring in reindeer from Hedrick’s Farm this year.” Bettles said. “This is something we’ve been wanting to add to our event for a while now, and with the help of Bretz, we were able to pull it off!”
Christmas In The Courtyard is free to attend, but the hot chocolate bar, raffle tickets and cookie decorating will have a small additional cost.
