Charles Louis Ridge, 79, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at Wheatlands
Health Care Center in Kingman. He was born on January 1, 1944, in Pratt
to Charley F. and Fern L. (Thompson) Ridge. Charles married Pat
(Gilstrap) Donelson on April 17, 2009, in Cunningham. They were married
for 13 years.
Charles graduated from Isabel High School. He
worked as a lifelong farmer. He was a member of The Cunningham Lions
Club and First Baptist Church in Medicine Lodge, and later attended the
Cunningham Christian Church. He loved farming. He also enjoyed church
activities, fishing, his dog "Maya" and most of all his family,
especially his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Pat;
stepchildren, Beth Patton of Cunningham, Grace Patton of Pratt, Jim
(Michelle) Patton of Newton and John Patton of Pratt; sisters, Evelyn
Hunt of Wichita and Helen Bailey of Pratt; 7 grandchildren; and 9
great-grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law, Benny Bailey.

April 7, 2023 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, with John Hamm presiding.
Burial followed at Maud Cemetery, Cunningham.
Memorials may
be made to Cunningham Museum or American Heart Association in care of
Larrison Mortuary. The family would like to extend great appreciation to
