Elmer Earl Thompson "Earl", 75, of Attica Long Term Care (ALTC), passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Wesley ICU in Wichita KS.  Earl was born November 14,1948 in Hardtner, KS. to Donald and Willa Mae (Sexson) Thompson. He enjoyed playing football and earned his Eagle Scout Badge before graduating from Medicine Lodge High School in 1966.

On September 14, 1981, he married Wanda Hager (Parker) at Alva, OK. They lived in Great Bend & Ellinwood, KS before moving to Rogers, AR in 1995 to care for Earl's dad, Donald.  In 2005 they moved back to Medicine Lodge, KS to be closer to family.

Earl worked in the oilfield as a truck driver for companies such as RC Williams and DaMac Drilling.  Derricks was his favorite to haul, and he was well respected in the Oilfield.   His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.
