PLEASANTVIEW, Kan. — An annual Reno County celebration is set for Saturday.

Pleasantview's 2024 Spring Celebration will include a free pancake feed, an antique tractor show, emergency vehicle expo, kids cookie decorating contest, extended store hours and more.

"It's the community of businesses out here in Pleasantview that come together," Glenda Yoder of Glenn's Bulk Food Shoppe and Gospel Book Store said. "And we just want to basically give back to our customers and just offer a free or complimentary event for people to come out and enjoy and see what all of the shopping and all of the stores and all of the businesses in Pleasantview and see what they are all about."

The free pancake feed will start off the celebration behind Stutzman's Greenhouse from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Glenn's Bulk Food Shoppe and Gospel Book Store will hand out one-day coupons at the feed.

"There's all sorts of things going on," Yoder said. "You can come out and shop. You can come out and see what everything's about."
