HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An arrest was made connected with a death that took place March 30 in Hutchinson.
According to a release from the Hutchinson Police Department, on March 30th, 2024, at 1:40 a.m., officers with Hutchinson Police Department responded to the 400 block of West 2nd Ave for an unresponsive 53-year-old male from Hutchinson. The male was identified as Lawrence “Larry” Coleman.
Reno County EMS and Hutchinson Fire Department responded to treat Mr. Coleman; however, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. During the investigation, detectives discovered Mr. Coleman had been involved in a fight prior to his death. On April 9th, 2024, David “Tate” Logan, 31 of Hutchinson, was arrested for Second Degree Murder.
