THE HIGHLANDS, Kan.&nbsp; — One person was injured in an accident involving a golf cart over the weekend. Reno County EMS and the sheriff’s department were dispatched to 10000 W. Snokomo Road around 12:30 Saturday morning.&nbsp;

According to reports 18-year-old Preston Gover, of The Highlands and two passengers, 18-year-old Kolton Sims, and 18-year-old William Yates, both of Hutchinson, were in the golf cart when Yates fell off the cart and struck his head on the pavement.&nbsp;

Yates was transported by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Sims was cited for underage drinking while Grover was arrested for DUI.&nbsp;
