RENO COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 1 p.m. Tuesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Jeep Patriot driven by Bonnie Heather Cole, 38, Hutchinson, was eastbound on Kansas 96 making a left turn onto Main Street in Haven.
The driver failed to yield. The Jeep traveled into the path of westbound 2012 Nissan Quest driven by Leslie Rae Canady, 37, Wichita. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
EMS transported Cole to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and Canaday to Via Christi in Wichita. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
