WABAUNSEE COUNTY—A Kansas man died in an accident just before 9:30a.m. Tuesday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Buick LeSabre driven by 90-year-old Charles Richard Thomas of Eskridge was southbound in the 29500 Block of Keene Eskridge Road.
The car veered off of the west side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle traveled across both lanes of traffic, entered the east ditch causing the vehicle to overturned.
EMS transported Thomas to Stormont Vail where he was pronounced deceased. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
