Glen Russell Lee of Hutchinson, KS, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024. He was born on August 7, 1953, in Beulah, KS, the son of Dennis and Lois Lee.
Glen grew up in the small town of Beulah, KS. He was in the graduating class of 1971 at Girard High School. In 1973 Glen moved to Hutchinson, KS. In 1974, he went to work at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility where he worked for 38 years, retiring in 2012.
On March 5, 1977, he married Rose Marie Lofland. Together they had two children, Brian (Ashley) and Jenny (Jeff).
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lois Lee; sister, Janice Dunlop and brother-in-law, Carl Dunlop.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Lee; children, Bryan (Ashley) of Wichita and Jenny (Jeff) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Beckham, Bentley and Elise; siblings, Barbara Crismas (Richard) of Springfield, MO, Buford Lee of Beulah, KS, Gerald Lee (Diana) of Olathe, KS; nieces and nephews, Todd Dunlop, Troy Dunlop, Joyce Dunn, Ricky Crismas, Dennis Crismas, Denis Morris, Kevin Lee, Katie Montegue, Jason Lee and April Lee.
Glen’s wishes were cremation. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel 300 E. 30 th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. A burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Redemption Animal Rescue and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
