Eunice Mae (Feuerborn) Webb, 88, passed away January 2, 2023, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. She was born May 5, 1934, in Garnett, KS, to Stephen and Clara (Hoffman) Feuerborn.
Eunice attended St. Teresa’s High School, Hutchinson, KS, and St. Mary’s Cathedral High School, Wichita, KS, and graduated in 1952. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell until she had children. Eunice enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, and sewing. She was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club, Church of the Holy Cross, and the church’s altar society.
On May 28, 1955, she married James P. Webb, in Wichita, KS. They shared over 59 years of marriage, prior to his death on July 10, 2014.
Eunice is survived by: her five children, Paula (Jon) Engstrom of Topeka, KS, Janet (Greg) Vulgamore of Cheney, KS, Kevin (Sue) Webb of Hutchinson, KS, Brian Webb of Hutchinson, KS, and James (Brynn) Webb of Wichita, KS; siblings, Vera Kennedy and Thomas (Julie) Feuerborn, both of Wichita, KS; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James P. Webb; parents, Stephen and Clara Feuerborn; brothers, Douglas Feuerborn and John Patrick Feuerborn; sister, Nadine Orth; daughter-in-law, Peggy Webb; and grandson, Thomas Webb.
Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Church of the Holy Cross, 2631 Independence Road, Hutchinson, KS, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with Father Aaron Spexarth officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2023, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House or Church of the Holy Cross, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
