Position: Home Health Director – Registered Nurse (RN)

Pleasant View Home is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Home Health Director.
This is a working leadership position that combines management and administrative responsibilities with hands-on clinical support.
The Home Health Director oversees the day-to-day operations and delivery of home health services, ensuring patients receive compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all home health services and patient care.
- Perform hands-on clinical duties as needed, including assessments, supervisory visits, care coordination and staff training.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate home health staff.
- Coordinate scheduling and staffing to meet patient needs.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal and applicable home health regulations.
- Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and advocate for patients’ needs, preferences and rights.
- Assist with budgeting, financial oversight and efficient use of agency resources.
- Build relationships with referral sources and community partners while helping promote Pleasant View Home’s home health services.
- Maintain policies, procedures, safety practices and emergency preparedness standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas required.
- Relevant experience in home health or community-based care.
- Previous healthcare leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage staff and operations.
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, reimbursement and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
