Gayle E. Schultz, 76, of Arlington, died November 16, 2025, at her home. She was born July 3, 1949, in Wichita, to Herbert and Virginia (Baird) Jones.
Gayle passionately worked in the medical field as a respiratory therapist for over 46 years. She was enthusiastic about her work and mentored many people throughout her career.
Gayle had a big heart for those around her including animals. She loved rescuing dogs and had many who were close to her heart. Gayle enjoyed baking and loved to garden in her free time.
On December 31, 1990, she married Stephen Schultz in Loveland, Colorado. They shared nearly 35 beautiful years together before her death.
Gayle is survived by: beloved husband, Steve Schultz of Arlington; daughter, Darcey (Mike) Fanucchi of Arlington; sister, Patty Randleas of Wichita; and brother, Rex Jones of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place.
Private family services will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Humane Society or South West Akita Tactical Rescue (SWAT), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
