HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The number of reported active COVID cases is still falling quickly in Reno County.

The number of active cases fell by 61 over the weekend to 276. That's down 1,221 from the start of the month. The total number of cases increased by 33 since Friday to 17,567 since the pandemic began. Twenty-one Reno County residents are currently hospitalized and the death toll is still at 217.

The vaccination rate is still at 54% with 33,754 Reno County residents vaccinated.
