Lloyd Jensen III, 45, of Hutchinson, died December 24, 2022, at his home. He was born March 20, 1977, in Newton, to Lloyd and Brenda (Perkins) Jensen Jr.

Lloyd graduated from Central Christian Schools, received his associate’s degree from Western International University and bachelor’s degree from University of Phoenix. He was a Corrections Manager II at Hutchinson Correctional Facility, where he had worked since 1999.

Lloyd loved fishing and enjoyed coaching his sons in football and baseball. He had a deep faith in Christ that was expressed in his involvement at Crossroads Christian Church, where he served as lead elder, in the Youth and Children’s ministries, and on the worship team.

On December 31, 1998, Lloyd married Michelle D. Kaegi, in Hutchinson. She survives.

Also surviving are: his sons, Jonathan of Valley Center, Dylan of Hutchinson, Braeden, Camden, Payten of the home; mother, Brenda Jensen of Hutchinson; father/mother-in-law, Mike and Sheila Kaegi of South Hutchinson; sister-in-law, Melissa and Joe Burgey of Hutchinson; nephew and niece, Mason and Caitlyn Burgey; and several extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Crossroads Christian Church, 4310 N. Monroe St., Hutchinson. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s website: ccchutch.com.

Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
