NEWTON, Kan. — Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged harassment involving deputies in Harvey County.
According to a social media report, the sheriff's office administration was made aware of alleged harassment claims against two Harvey County deputies.
The sheriff's office began an internal investigation to gather more information. While the investigation is being conducted, the two deputies have been placed on administrative leave.
The department said it takes these allegations with the utmost seriousness and will respond appropriately once the investigation is completed.
