Pamala A. Mulè, 73, of Wichita, died May 19, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1949, in Hutchinson, to Don Cunningham and Rita (McConnell) Cunningham-Wright.
Pamala graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1967, then attended business college in Emporia. There, she met her husband, Thomas A. ‘Tom’ Mulè. After pursuing him for some time, they finally went on a date. Later, on May 18, 1968, she married Tom in Emporia. They shared over 55 years together before her passing.
She was a very devoted woman. She tirelessly helped her husband, Tom, run their businesses, including, Tomassi’s and the Polo Bar & Grill. Pamala ran a tight ship when she would work in the restaurants. She loved to shop, and would always get a good deal. Pamala enjoyed taking care of her grandkids, and sharing recipes with her granddaughter so she could cook for her friends. Pamala adored animals, but she had a special connection with dogs. Christmas was her favorite time of year. Pamala would shop all year so she could give everyone gifts. She also enjoyed decorating.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Pamala is survived by: her husband, Thomas A. ‘Tom’ Mulè, Wichita; sons, Tommy Mulè, Hutchinson, Anthony Mulè, Hutchinson, and Travis Mulè, Castle Rock, CO; grandchildren, Tanner, Hutchinson, Tate, Castle Rock, CO, Landon, Fort Scott, Maddison, Castle Rock, CO, Mia, Castle Rock, CO, Giovanni, Hutchinson, Piper, Hutchinson, and Renèe, Hutchinson; sister, Angel Griffith, Hutchinson; and brothers, Shawn Cunningham, Hutchinson, and Michael (Paula) Cunningham, South Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; parents-in-law, Charles and Concetta Mulè; brother, Daniel Cunningham; and sister, Jill Trump.
Cremation has taken place. It was Pamala’s wishes to not have a service.
