KANSAS CITY—A Kansas City-area man has been charged in a domestic assault of three persons inside a Grandview residence, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.
Collins I. Milimu, 38, faces three counts of Domestic Assault 1st Degree, three counts of Armed Criminal Action and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to court records, on May 14, police were dispatched to the 13000 block of Manchester in Grandview. A reporting party told police that an injured victim arrived at the residence. Officers went to the defendant's residence and observed the Milimu leaving. After officers forced entry into the residence, they found three victims, two of whom had life-threatening injuries. The victims had been hit with a hammer. Two victims are juveniles. Milimu admitted to hitting three victims. He also stated that he needed, “my sense of revenge.”
Prosecutors recommended the defendant be held on no bond.
