JEFFERSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Thursday in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer driven by Molly Erin Harmon, 44 Oskaloosa, was eastbound on Kansas 92 one mile west of Oskaloosa. The SUV rear-ended a motorized minibike driven by Joshua Michael Chisamore, 27, Ozawkie.
Chisamore was pronounced dead at the scene. Harmon was properly restrained and not injured. Chisamore was not wearing any safety equipment or a helmet, according to the KHP.
