Frank Clement Dauksch, age 79 yrs, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He was bornSaturday, September 16, 1944 in Great Bend, Kansas, son of Clement Paul Dauksch and LelaAnna (Konecny) Dauksch.
He was a graduate of Great Bend High School, Great Bend, Kansas.After graduation he went into the U.S. Navy on the USS Bennington. A few years later he met the love of his life, Carol Mae Finkbiner. They were married May 15, 1971 in Clifton, Kansasand enjoyed 43 years when Carol preceded him in 2014. His other lifelong accomplishmentwas working for USD 259 and retiring after 30 years of faithful work.
He took pride in and enjoyed having a large garden which prospered at the touch of his hand andhard work. He exercised at the YMCA, and in his quiet time he enjoyed fishing. Yet his greatestlove was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Dauksch, his parents Clement and Lela Dauksch,brother Robert Fredelake and sister Barbara Lancaster.
Frank is survived by his daughter Felicia Mayer and husband Stephen of Wichita; grandchildren Zachery Mayer, Abigail Mayer, Katherine Mayer, Daniel Mayer, Saranne Mayer, William Mayerand Hope Mayer, all of Wichita; sisters Carolyn Patten and husband Mike of South PadreIsland, TX, and Linda Patten of LaPorte, TX, sister-in-law Neletta Fredelake; many nieces,nephews, other family and friends.
Rosary 10:00 a.m. and Mass 10:30 a.m. both held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon,Wichita, Kansas on Friday, August 23, 2024. Graveside will be held at noon on Saturday, August 24, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas.
