HARVEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities continue to investigate after human remains were found in eastern Harvey County Monday afternoon, according to county public information officer Kyle McCaskey.
The remains were found near a hedge row near East First Street and North Rock Road.
The investigation has determined the deceased individual is a woman. Identifying information about the woman was not found on scene.
The Harvey County Coroner’s Office will examine dental records and perform an autopsy to determine the woman’s identity.
The cause of death of the woman has not been determined. It is not known if foul play was involved.
