SCOTT COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new allegations following an incident in Scott County.
Just after 3:p.m. Thursday, two women came to the Scott County Law Enforcement Center to report an incident that occurred in the 600 block of North Washington in Scott City, according to a media release.
As a result of this investigation, police arrested David Suri, 41, of Scott City on requested charges of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior and Sexual Battery.
Suri was transported to the Scott County Jail and this case has been referred to the Scott County Attorney for prosecution.
Suri has previous convictions for battery, theft, criminal threat and for drugs, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections.
