SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Planning Commission will look over a request from a developer during their regular meeting Thursday. The developer wants to open a small coffee shop with a drive through in Yoder.
Lawrence Street Properties LLC wants to build the small shop on a vacant parcel of land on the southwest corner of Red Rock and Yoder Roads. The developer is asking for a conditional use permit for the project.
The board was also scheduled to hold a public hearing on a proposed housing development near Cheney Reservoir. That has now been tabled until Aug 18th. The development is planned for an area east of the intersection of Willison and Silver Lake Roads.
Thursday's meeting of the Reno County Planning Commission begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Reno County Public Works building at 600 Scott Blvd. in South Hutchinson.
