HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson Housing Commission will hold its meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the newly completed SCKEDD Resurgence House at 1508 W 17th Ave.
On the agenda for the meeting is an introduction of the Sherwin Williams Paint Program, an introduction of Brad Pryor, a tour of the Resurgence House with Before and After video and reports from Adam Stewart on Featured Neighborhoods, Jim Seitnater on the Hutchinson Land Bank and updates from Interfaith Housing, SCKEDD & New Beginnings.
There will also be an update on the Housing Needs Assessment, discussion of the 2024 Housing Commission Candidates, the showing of the Telling Our Story videos and the adoption of the 2024 meeting dates.
The SCKEDD Resurgence House is a four bedroom two and a half bath house. When it was purchased, it was vacant. An older gentleman had aged in place. It was very dilapidated, to the point where, new sewer line, new plumbing and new electric had to be put in. It was completely redone.
The house is listed at $325,000.
