
SEDGWICK COUNTY– A Kansas teacher, accused of sex crimes involving a student was back in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
A Sedgwick County Judge determined there was enough evidence against 30-year-old Nicole Morgan Baird Hernandez to go to trial, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
In May, she was charged with four counts of unlawful sexual relations with a student, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office. She was an art teacher at Wichita North High School, according to the school web site. The student involved was over the age of 16, according to the arrest report.
On May 22, police arrested her in the 300 Block of West Tyler in Wichita. She met the requirement for bond and was released from custody the following day.
