KANSAS CITY —A Kansas City man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for the stabbing in December 2018 of a woman inside a Walmart Supercenter, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.

A Jackson County judge sentenced Brian S. LeNoble, 26, to 15 years in prison for Domestic Assault 1st Degree and three years for a conviction of Armed Criminal Action. The sentences were set to run consecutively for a total of 18 years in prison.
According to court records, an off-duty officer at Walmart was called to the automotive center on a reported stabbing.
