Judith (Judy) Alice Sturgeon Wiesenthal passed away on Wednesday March 19, 2025, in El Paso, TX.

Judy was born in Hutchinson, KS on May 9, 1942. She lived with her family in Nickerson, KS, until she graduated from Nickerson High School, and then went on to graduate from Sidney’s Hairdressing College in Hutchinson, KS. After graduation, she married Carlo (Alvin) Wiesenthal, who served in the US Army until retirement. They traveled the globe and Judy helped support her husband and country. Judy worked as a rural US Postal Service worker for 20 years and endured the harsh weather conditions of El Paso, TX. She had several talents, which included sewing and art projects. She and Alvin pursued most of their hobbies together, and they were avid bowlers and pinochle players. They also traveled often to buy vintage treasures to resell regionally at flea markets.

Judy was proceeded in death by her parents Eugene Sturgeon and Wilma Herren Sturgeon Wilson, husband Alvin Wiesenthal, sons Rex Wiesenthal and Roy Lee Wiesenthal.

She leaves behind sons Carl Wiesenthal, Mark Wiesenthal (Rachel), sister Elaine Cloyd (John Mitchell), nephew Brian Cloyd (McKenzie), two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren, and many extended family.
