HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department will host a Drug Take Back Day event on Saturday, April 30.
On that day, anyone with inside medications can drop them off at the Hutchinson Police Department at 210 W. 1st Ave. with no questions asked.
The drug drop-off is a way to rid your medicine cabinet of unused prescriptions that can be a problem for children or those who might abuse them.
It also keeps medications from being flushed down the sewer system as they do not break down in the water treatment system.
The drop-off runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
