The Christian Church in Kansas announced Wednesday that Rev. Dr. David Dubovich has been called to serve as the region’s Associate Regional Minister. His first day will be June 1, 2024.
In this role, David will provide pastoral care, search and call, and congregational support to the Central and High Plains Districts. Additionally, David will work with clergy care ministries regarding clergy standing, ordination, commissioning, and scholarships. He will also work with clergy, Disciples Men, and Spirituality retreat planning teams.
David has been serving as the Acting Associate Regional Minister for the region since November 2023. Before that, he was pastor of Park Place Christian Church in Hutchinson and served in numerous regional leadership positions. He previously served churches in Missouri, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Virginia.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Point Park University, a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a doctoral degree from Saint Paul School of Theology. A native of Pennsylvania, David and his wife Cindy live in Hutchinson.
