Hutchinson Fire Department
HUTCHINSON,Kan. — According to a release from the Hutchinson Fire Department, crews were called out at 10 p.m. Tuesday to the 1200 block of East 4th, where they found a house on fire.
Fire was venting from multiple windows of the single-story structure. At first, crews thought there might still be one person inside, but all three occupants already made it out safely.
No one was hurt, the fire was put out and the home is a total loss. The home immediately to the east was also damaged due to the heat.
The fire is still under investigation.
Hutchinson Fire was assisted by Hutchinson Police, Reno County EMS, Kansas Gas Service, Evergy, Hutchinson-Reno County Emergency Communications, Hutchinson Public Works and 1-800 BOARDUP.
