Jerry L. Glass, 85, passed away March 11, 2026, at his home in Hutchinson, KS. He was born on October 20, 1940, in Newton, KS, and was the son of Harley and Pearl (Geer) Glass.
Jerry married Shirley Glass on March 20, 1960, in Las Animas, CO. They were married for 54 years before her passing in 2015. He worked for Consolidated Manufacturing for 23 years as a machine operator.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Glass; daughter, Jacqueline Douthit; brothers, Gerald Glass, Harley Glass Jr., Carl Glass; and sisters, Charlotte Poland and Nancy Forbes.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Virginia Snow and adopted daughter, Terri Lickteig; eight grandchild, and 12 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. To help offset the cost of funeral expenses, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made out to Virginia Snow and can be sent in are of the funeral chapel.
