⚾ Haven drops pair in CKL showdown with Pratt

HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven Wildcats baseball team was swept in it's regular season finale on Tuesday in a Central Kansas League showdown with the  Pratt Greenbacks. The Wildcats fell in game one 2-0 in nine innings, before falling in the second game 1-0. 

The Greenbacks plated both runs in the first game on a passed ball in the top of the ninth inning. Pratt struck out the side in the bottom of the ninth to end the ballgame. The game was delayed for nearly 30 minutes in the fourth inning due to weather.

Haven ends the regular season with a 16-4 record. Pratt also ends the regular season 16-4 and will be the No. 2 seed in the 4A west regionals. The Greenbacks will host No. 15 Mulvane next week in the first round of regionals.
