LeCLAIRE, Iowa — A former director of finance for the city of Hutchinson has been named the new city manager of LeClaire, Iowa.
According to the Quad City Times, the city council approved an employment agreement Nov. 15 with veteran finance director Dennis Bockenstedt for LeClaire’s top administrator position at an annual salary of $110,000.
Bockenstedt has worked as the finance director for Iowa City since 2013. He was the finance director for the city of Hutchinson from December of 2010 until February of 2013.
Bockenstedt will head up one of the fastest-growing populations in the Quad Cities, growing from a population of 3,765 in the 2010 census to 4,710 in the 2020 census.
Bockenstedt will start his new job on Dec. 28.
