YODER, Kan. — Two new Hutchinson Police officers have graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center in Yoder.
Officer Kyle Danahy and Officer Robert Deleon were part of the 281st graduating class. The graduation ceremony was the first to be open to the public since March of 2020.
Deputy Hayden Goudy of the Cloud County Sheriff’s Office was the graduating class president. The speaker for the ceremony was Shane Jager, Sheriff for Pottawatomie County.
About 300 officers enroll annually in KLETC 14 week basic training programs. KLETC offers continuing education and specialized training to over 10,000 Kansas officers each year.
