HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County sales tax revenue continues its upward push for the month of April.

According to numbers released Tuesday by the county treasurer's office total sales tax collected for April was $362,888. That compares with $328,258 in 2020. Sales tax revenue has increased the past three months. The April figure is the highest since at least 2015.

Sales tax numbers for April reflect shopping for February. To date the county has taken in $1.65 million.
