SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident and have identified the victim as Darryl L. Coleman, 63, of Topeka.
Just after 10p.m. Wednesday, were dispatched to the area of SW 21st Street and SW Seabrook Avenue on a report of a dark colored passenger struck a pedestrian later identified as Coleman and fled, according to Police Kerry Connell
Coleman was transported to a local area hospital with life threatening injuries and died. Police released no additional details
