The Senate unanimously approved Senator Jerry Moran's resolution with Senator Roger Marshall honoring the legacy of Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum, who served three terms in the Senate and was the first woman to represent Kansas in the Senate.

On his social media page, Senator Moran wrote, " 
Her service changed the Senate, our nation and the state of Kansas for the better. She will be deeply missed, and Robba and I extend our condolences to her family and loved ones."
