
Alice Pauline Miller, 84, died peacefully at Wesley Towers, on January 15, 2025. She was born May 11, 1940, in Rice County, to Robert I. and Mildred A. (Schowalter) DeWitt.
Alice graduated from Alden High School in 1958 and attended Emporia State University. She was a secretary for Crook Furniture, Dillons and Koch Industries. She enjoyed watching golf, traveling the world and had a passion for gardening all types of flowers. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and huge supporter of President Donald Trump.
Alice is survived by: sister, Roberta Recker; nephews, Phil Recker, Scott and Todd Duncan; niece, April (Jerome) Dawson; sister-in-law, Betty Latimer; cousins Bill (Betty Jane) Schowalter; great-nephews, Jarrod and Jeremy (Morgan) Dawson; great-great-nephew, Hayden Lee Dawson; good friend, Beautiful Guest; and many other extended family members.
Inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
